Call and assessment
Call or request a call back. No referral needed. At your assessment, at home or in Birtinya, Maegan goes through your goals, health and how you move, then plans your device and funding with you.

Scan & design
We take a 3D scan or a cast and design your device around your shape and your goals.

Step 03
Fabrication & fitting
Your device is made, then fitted and adjusted until it is comfortable. Prostheses usually include a test socket first.

Follow‑up & optimisation
We check in as you get used to your device and adjust it as your body, activity or goals change.

What people usually ask when they first get in touch.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No. You can call us directly. Some funders, such as DVA and WorkCover, need a referral or approval before they pay, and we will tell you if yours does.
What does a prosthesis or orthosis cost?
It depends on the device, the components and how much customisation you need. As a rough guide, prostheses range from around $5,000 to over $100,000, and custom orthoses from several hundred dollars to over $15,000. Many clients are funded through the NDIS, DVA, WorkCover or private health. You get an itemised quote after your assessment, before anything is made.
How long does it take to get a device?
Once scanning or casting is done, most devices are made and fitted within 2 to 4 weeks. Funding approval can add time between your assessment and that point. We keep you and your funder updated so things keep moving.
Do you work with NDIS participants?
Yes. We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants and prepare the assistive technology assessments, quotes and reports your plan needs. We cannot be paid from agency-managed (NDIA-managed) funds.
Can I have appointments at home?
Yes. We visit across the Sunshine Coast, including Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Buderim, Nambour, Coolum and Noosa, for assessments, 3D scanning, fittings and reviews. You can also visit our Birtinya clinic.
How do I get started?
Call Maegan, request a call back, or send an email enquiry. You can call on behalf of someone else. On the first call we talk through what is going on and whether we are the right fit.
